As most TechHire programs are coming to the end of their grant periods this year, many have developed new programs or revitalized existing ones and want to ensure they can continue them. Sustainability is more than just about funding though – organizational infrastructure and capacity, partnerships and networks, and systems change should also be considered.
This guide and tool will assist TechHire programs with the sustainability planning process, developing a plan and identifying key resources they’ll need along the way. A strong sustainability plan can position programs to set a solid foundation for future programming by building off of their successes with the TechHire grant and eliminating any aspects that were unsuccessful or distracted from their key goals.
