Santa Fe Community College Algae Curriculum

This Algae curriculum includes, but is not limited to, the following topics: algae cell biology and physiology, lab experimental methodology, culture isolation, optimization and preservation, use of microscope, algae identification, design, maintenance and troubleshooting of photo-bioreactors, use of common analytical equipment, and economics of algae cultivation and marketing. The curriculum includes a minimum of 30 hours of classroom and lab training.
