The overall goal of this 3-credit interdisciplinary course is to provide an introduction to biotechnology product manufacturing. The course focuses on the history of the industry, the required multidisciplinary approach for success, the details of the manufacturing process, and the legal, social, and ethical issues surrounding this industry.
